Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival

Entertainment, food, family and friends converge under the stars on the scenic shore of Lake Tahoe each summer as Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival (LTSF) – a premiere summer event in the Reno/Tahoe region – produces live theater entertainment at Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park. The season is anchored by the Festival’s mainstage productions of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew and the Tony-winning rock ‘n’ roll tribute Million Dollar Quartet in 2019. A ShowcaseSeries augments the Festival’s mainstage productions and features live events from a variety of genres. The LTSF experience is complemented by al fresco dining at its on-site restaurant – Shakespeare’s Kitchenwhich offers a wide variety of gourmet dining options. Alternatively, patrons may bring their own food/drink for picnicking. The Festival’s education programming is highlighted by the D.G. Menchetti Young Shakespeare Program- free performances produced for younger audiences at Lake Tahoe and throughout northern Nevada.
