There is never a shortage of events in Reno/Tahoe. Enjoy big game displays, festivals, wine and beer crawls, concerts and more! Make sure to mark your calendars and get your tickets to all of these winter events.

January 25-28: Eagle & Agriculture, Carson Valley

Calling all nature lovers, photographers and birders! Visit Carson Valley for an opportunity to see an influx of bald eagles, hawks and other birds of prey during the winter calving season. This remarkable weekend includes special tours, dinner and photography workshops. Sign up for these inspiring events.

February 2 & 3: Tower of Power 50th Anniversary Tour, MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa, South Lake Tahoe

The 50th Anniversary Tour is a performance you won’t want to miss! Their unique brand of soul music brings in a large crowd and is known for selling out! With two nights of performances you have twice the chance to see them!

February 4The Big Game, Circus Circus Reno

Watch the big game at the Race and Sports Book inside Circus Circus Reno. With so many HD flat screen TVs on their video wall there isn’t a bad seat in the house! Enjoy football-inspired food and drink specials plus the largest sports wagering limits.

February 17 – May 13: Marking the Infinite Exhibit, Nevada Museum of Art, Reno

This exhibit showcases nine of Australia’s leading Aboriginal artists. The artwork created by these women are a representation of their pride in their communities. You will definitely want to see this exhibit for yourself, the artwork is so powerful.

February 22 – 24: 32st Annual Shooting Weekend, Carson Valley Inn, Minden

Join us for fun weekend in the Carson Valley. At this shooting weekend you can win up to $2,000 in cash prizes, belt buckles for class winners, shirts and raffles too! For non-shooters they have an awesome buffet that you are sure to enjoy. See their website for the full schedule of events.

April 6 – 8: WinterWonderGrass Music & Brew Festival, North Lake Tahoe

This festival is a mix of national, regional and local bluegrass and acoustic root music, California craft beers, wines, spirits and local foods. The gathering focuses on local sustainability and non-profits while supporting the arts. With Squaw Valley and the Sierra as your backdrop, this is an entertaining opportunity to dance, mingle and reconnect with friends.

Every 3rd Saturday: Reno Wine Walk, Downtown Reno

Join the Reno Wine Walk every third Saturday of every month from 2 to 5 p.m. All of the places are within walking distance. Grab your friends, pay $20 for a wine tasting ticket and you’ll receive a wine glass and a wristband that allows you to sample wine at all participating businesses. 

Every 4th Saturday: Reno Beer Crawl, Downtown Reno

Throughout downtown Reno, every fourth Saturday of the month, you can walk or “crawl” to all of the participating bars in the Reno Beer Crawl. For just $5, you get a wristband, map and glass to use for $1 refills of six-ounce samples, which adds up to a half beer!
