Real stories that must be told’that’s what you’ll find at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum. The museum’s mission to identify and preserve the evolving history of country music and to educate audiences is fulfilled through their ever-changing exhibition schedule.
During your visit, you will experience the story of country music from its humble folk roots, and tracks its evolution into the present day. Through hundreds of artifacts, photographs, original recordings, and archival films, the core exhibition immerses the visitor in the history and sounds of country music’s early years. Artists represented include Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Bill Monroe, Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Ray Price, Roy Rogers, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and many others.
In addition to your museum tour, you can also experience Nashville’s only historic studio tour, Historic RCA Studio B. This studio provides a glimpse into the heart of Nashville music making during one of its most exciting and classic periods. ‘Are You Lonesome Tonight?’ by Elvis Presley, ‘Kiss an Angel Good Morning’ by Charley Pride, ‘Only the Lonely’ by Roy Orbison, and ‘I Will Always Love You’ by Dolly Parton are just a few of the milestone recordings that got their start at Studio B.
Historic RCA Studio B seats are limited, so book your tour today. Tours depart daily from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and are available only in conjunction with museum admission. Roundtrip transportation to and from the studio on Music Row is included in your admission price.
